These terms are an agreement between you and Creative Lab Academy ("we", "us") for using creativelabet.com and its courses. By creating an account or enrolling in a course you accept them. Please also read our Privacy policy and Refund policy.

1. Your account

• Give accurate details and keep your password private. You are responsible for activity on your account.
• An account is for one person. Sharing an account or course access with others is not allowed and may lead to suspension.
• Learners under 18 need permission from a parent or guardian.

2. Courses and access

• When you enroll in a course, you get lifetime access to it for as long as the academy operates the course, including updates we make to it.
• Some courses are step by step: each lesson, quiz or assignment unlocks the next. Quizzes have a pass mark and can be retried.
• We may update, reorganise or improve course content. If we must permanently withdraw a paid course you are still taking, we will offer a comparable course or consider a refund.
• Certificates confirm that you completed a course on this platform. They are not a government or university qualification unless the course page says otherwise.

3. Prices and payment

• Prices are shown in Ethiopian Birr (ETB). Where VAT applies, the price shown already includes it.
• For bank transfers, access starts once our team has confirmed your payment. Uploading a false or altered receipt is fraud and will lead to account closure.
• Coupons are subject to their own conditions and cannot be exchanged for cash.

4. Refunds

Refunds are handled as described in our Refund policy.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• download, record, copy, resell, share or publish course videos or materials;
• try to get around locked lessons, access controls or payments;
• upload anything unlawful, harmful or infringing, or anything containing malware;
• harass other learners, instructors or staff in reviews, messages, chat or submissions;
• interfere with the site's security or operation, or scrape it automatically.

6. Intellectual property

Courses, videos, text, designs and the Creative Lab Academy name and logo belong to us or our instructors and are licensed to you only for personal, non-commercial learning. Work you create and submit stays yours. You allow us and your instructor to view, assess and store it to run the course, and we will ask before showcasing it publicly.

7. Reviews and messages

Reviews must be honest and about your own experience. We may moderate, hide or remove content that breaks these terms.

8. Suspension and closing accounts

You can close your account at any time by contacting us. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, with notice where reasonable. Access paid for by an account closed for misuse is not refundable.

9. Availability and liability

We work to keep the academy available and accurate, but we cannot guarantee it will always be uninterrupted or error-free, or that a course will lead to a particular job or result. To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the course concerned. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under Ethiopian consumer protection law.

10. Changes

We may update these terms. We will change the date above and tell you about significant changes. Continuing to use the academy after that means you accept them.

11. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia. Please contact us first so we can try to resolve any problem. If we cannot, disputes go to the competent courts in Addis Ababa.
